Pre-release Excitement: 14 Days to Die by A. B. Whelan

I'm absolutely blown away by the pre-release attention my book is receiving. Once a couple of influential Goodreads reviewers requested 14 Days to Die on Netgalley and left rave reviews encouraging their followers to read it, the popularity of my book shot to the roof. As of right now, my book has received about 50 reviews (90% of them are 4 and 5 stars with 500 review likes) and over 3,000 people shelved my book.

This was my first book by A.B. Whelan and it was the Bomb!!
An emotional journey in the life of the perfect family that ends up being a little less than perfect!!

Great book with So much twist and turns that i dare you to try and Guess the ending!! Good Luck!!

What a brilliant book. I am annoyed that it took me so long to read this book but with life being so busy right now it couldnt be helped.

I received a copy of this book from the author for my honest review.
I started this book and immediately was drawn in. I love true crime books and that is exactly what this book reminded me of. Had I read it blindly I would have assumed it was a true crime book.
Mike and Sarah Johnson are the all American couple with 2 kids, 2 mortgages (one a rental), a dog, and chickens. Mike is an AF man so they have spent a good deal of time moving around. Sarah is your typical stay at home Mom who believes ...more

This is the first book I have read by this author, and I have to say, she is truly a gifted storyteller! This thriller has so many underlying storylines that it keeps you captivated and wanting to know more. You definitely do not know where the story will go, and I enjoy that it was not predictable in the least. Not since Gone Girl or Girl on the Train have I been so hooked on a book. I loved it from start to finish!

Well orchestrated triller with many twists and turns that keeps you guessing until the very last page. It surprised me. I'm an avid CSI and crime drama junkie, but I could not see if coming. A. B. Whelan pulls off the perfect crime (book) - while painting a painfully accurate picture of a decade old marriage, raising kids, personal demons and desire. The book has a bit of Marquez zing to it in a style of the Chronicle of a Death Fortold.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely loved and highly recommend this book! Imagine being a happy enough, stay at home mom going about your daily routine when you receive a phone call and find out that not only is your husband cheating on you but he has also hired a hitman to kill you.
